Ireland Day Nine

I have read about a "Full Fry Up" in so many books, I finally got one! So Good!

Dunluce Castle

Off in the distance...

Some cool castle NOT on the tourist list. Must still be privately owned. So cool from afar.
Lissanduff Earthworks

White Rock Bay

I wanted to climb in here.

I REALLY wanted to climb in here and see how far back it went, but I had Tracy in my head yelling to be careful.

I thought it would show up better, but this is extream white Limestone rocks next to the black rocks, and then the sand. So Cool! I picked up matched sets of rocks for my 3 and 7-year-old friends.

If you look closely, you will see a rope bridge between the hills, below the house.

I am so glad I took this pic, I realized I was walking on a beach with my sandals on, those came right off.

This reminds me of all the Period movies I have seen. Running through the wilds of Ireland!
Golf course in the background.

There was a skunk... so I ran.
This man was trying to get to his chimney to paint it, he was clearly so TERRIFIED of falling off. Appropriate fear!

I am not a GOT fan, but if you are...

The Chimneys

Endangered flower that only grows at the Giant's Causeway.

Endangered Rosa that only grows on the slopes here.

Imagine getting sheep up that cliff without the steps! Hell, with the steps!

That is Scotland in the distance.

The architects did a great job of building in a way that didn't impact the view.
I asked the locals where to get a Guinness and made a woman who hadn't had a drink in 20 years salivate just telling me where to go, The Harbour Bar in Portrush.

If you don't know (according to my Airbnb host) there is such a thing as good and bad Guinness. What we get in America tends to be from a can (if you are smart) with a nitrogen pod in it. In Ireland and Northern Ireland they have a system of pipes that are installed, and if the bar patrons don't drink Guinness then it go bad in the pipes, making "Bad" Guinness. A Good Guinness bar has many patrons ordering Guinness on the regular.

I asked the Harbour Bistro waiter if I would get a better Guinness from his bar or the one ten feet away. He told me to go into the bar, get my Guinness and come back for dinner. "Theirs in closer to the spout." whatever that means.
Upon drinking my first sip I texted, "Sweet beautiful Jesus! I may never come home." Still accurate.
