Norway to Ireland Day Seven

Oslo is my first and last stop in Norway. The cool statues in day one were in Oslo as well.

This is the freeway on the way into Oslo.

Oslo art.

Oslo's approach to pizza. Pretty good.

Welcome to the Viking Ship Museum. The museum houses three actual viking ships that were preserved by being art of a burial mound for important people. The pics don't do scale justice, these ships are huge!

I love this picture. You can see the mix of new and old wood, but the amazing way they did the work.

The two wormen were there in this amazing black sand so you could see the bones clearly, it was very cool... I just didn't feel right taking their picture, other people were... it just didn't feel right to me.

Rudder.

The body was right there, didn't feel right to take their picture.

Sleds found in the burial mounds. They are being 3D imaged.

One of the shields they found. Can you imagine shielding yourself from a barrage of arrows with just that wood?

Art on a water bucket.

A very cool animated video of the life of one of the boats, and how it was processed and moved for the Burial Mound.

Handicapped. Let's see how big?

Big.
Two hour $74 flight to Dublin and ....
A very Irish Bunny welcome!
Warming up on me. :(
