Take you time.....
Personally I always think of diving head first into a vat of chocolate and eating my way out. This week that thought was brought roughly into opposition, and I am quite upset with my Records for doing this to me. I very much like jumping into vats of chocolate.
However, it was abruptly brought to my attention that my thoughts on the word Indulge, as well as that of the chocolate industry, may be drastically wrong. What if the word indulge actually means to do what feels good, and makes you happy? I.e. exercising, eating in a way to sustain your life, filling the body with goodness not processed crap, Meditating because it relaxes you not because someone told you to do it, cuddling with your cats for two minutes longer even though that means you will be late for work (look at that puss, how can you say no to it?) NOT hiding from yourself in front of the TV, spooning with the person you love even though you have reached the over heat point just because it feels so good to have them touching you.
I always believed indulgence had to involve food, and stuffing myself with it. I always believed Indulgence involved the TV because I deserved some down time. I NEVER thought Indulgence meant to take care of myself.
This is what I learned from the Records and Meditation this week. I have fought this concept for a very long time. I think I might go with the river for a while and see if life is easier this way.
Hugs Peeps!
