Trips and shopping

So it has been a while. I went to Flagstaff and sat on a vortex. I also spent time with Husband and his friends from college. I watched him sing in a choir and my heart overfilled with joy watching him. I also watched a bell choir for the first time. OH MY GOD!!! That was so stinking cool.

So anyway back to the vortex. I decided to go to Sedona and hang out meditating for the day. I had breakfast with Husband, dropped him off for practice and drove to Sedona. First of all the drive was beautiful. All the fall colors out in full force. Then I realized I was in some very uncomfortable clothes. I found a Life is Good store, they had no pants but a cool shirt. I searched the town for pants... seriously.... hours looking for pants. Hours that I was just so looking forward to using for meditation. I finally found an amazing little store that had a beautiful drum that was hand made by Three Feathers. I don't know who that is but the sales person made a big deal about it. Honestly, I didn't care who made it but the sound hit me like nothing else has. I love my new drum. Now I just need to figure out how to play it.

Anyway, so I wasted most of my time to meditate shopping yet again. I did this in Lily Dale, and miraculously I did this at a RETREAT in Mass. I was in the middle of nowhere and I still managed to shop and spend a butt load of money... SO I wonder what this block is for. I really wish I could do something to fix this procrastination technique I am using. I have all sorts of plans for myself, and the fun of a new... whatever is so alluring.

Of course the other side of it is that I always find something amazing when this whim takes me so MAYBE it is just the fates making me shop. Yep I like that answer. Let's go with that. :)

Later Peeps.
